    Well finally ran the car at the track yesterday, with hypertech computer tune, 3.73 gears and rebuilt tranny, i ran a 14.5 at 96 mph. looking into getting headers this weekend hopefully.

    im thinkn a little bigger cam, and headers. any1 know of the ported lt1 intakes flow any better then stock. found a few on ebay for like 290 i think it said.

      Post up some pictures!! I have a 94 Formula as well. Haven't made ot to the track with it yet though. What tires were you running? That seems on the slow side with the gears. Personally my next mod for your car would be a stall as thats the same for mind. I've heard it really wakes these lt1's up.

          124k auto, i was runnin street tires, 275/40/17s, cooper tires... bought with car. pics are up on a different thread

            found out that the truck torque converter is a little tighter then stock formula torque converter

                  ya cheap replacement, i had a buddy at work hav a torque converter for a 4l60e and found out it was truck converter, so now im thinkn about doin a higher stall converter after headers are installed, any recommendations? i dont need a 3600 stall itll be for street and strip use. also anyone have any short cuts for installing long tube headers?

                    I ran a 3600 stall on my 2000 when I had it and it was very streetable with 3.73 gears. I wouldn't go lower than 3200 personally.

                        thinkin i might end up adding pictures tonight minus of the interior... looks like a hurricane went thru it. mostly mtn dew bottles but a mans gotta hav caffeine
