its all about prep work on most anything...plus TSP works great as a cleaner, I use it on my walls before I paint, use it for wheels, and if there is already paint on the plastics you do find from a junk yard or another seller, soak them in brake fluid, it will eat the paint off and leave you with a paint free plastic

I planned on putting the carpet in today, but realized I have to cut all the holes and just don't feel like doing it. LOL So I think I am done for today. I have everything dyed and cleaned ready to install. I just don't have the patients to deal with cutting holes, so I will wait for the wife to help tomorrow lol. Gotta love a wife that will tinker in the garage.sigpic1999 Trans Am Bolt On Car plus Nitrous!

Old engine is now out thanks to Brian, Darren, and Jon. I cleaned up the engine bay to get ready to sand prime and paint. Will be filling in the holes where the old wiring was at heater and ac holes and all the little bolt holes for a smooth engine bay. Once this is done I will start sanding the whole car down for some new paint.Attached Filessigpic1999 Trans Am Bolt On Car plus Nitrous!

THis was my weekend was heading to my wifes work. Trying to make a left turn was completly stopped for over a minute or two and all of a sudden we felt the bang. She hit us at 60 and never hit her brakes. Luckily she swerved at the last minutesigpic1999 Trans Am Bolt On Car plus Nitrous!

wow. sucks about the daily driver! hope you both are alright! camaros coming along nicely. did you pick up a carb yet? i used to have a buick regal that i built a mild 355 for with intake, cam, ported n polished stock heads, headers, th350 with a shift kit, 10:1 flat tops stock rotating assy. and i had a rebuilt quadrajet from a 72 buick electra 225 with a 455 big block, i bought the elctra for the motor was gonna swap it to the regal, car got t-boned before i swapped it. that 355 LOVED that q-jet. i remember when we bought the kit to rebuild the carb they told me it was like 800 or 825 cfm. and being as old as it was it had the mech. secondaries and no electric choke. it was the old style, pump the pedal twice to set it. it ran better than my 600 holley by far and was no way to big for that 355. just my experience, if it helps. torque thrust "D"s would look awesome on that car BTW
