Whys that? Do it all the time. Looks way better than unpainted aluminized.

      • well hey then more power to ya, I just said didnt sound like a good idea to me. I have yet to find a good paint that will with hold the high temps. I did my headers and I havent even ran the car for 30 minutes yet and they look bad already. Yes I did the process correctly. If you find something that works well I would be interested.

            • I painted my hooker black with the VHT ceramic paint and it's holding up really well. I was really surprised how well it works once you do the proper warm up / cool down / warm up procedure. I've hit it with screw drivers and such and not a single scratch.

              • I used BBQ Grille High Temp paint to paint the exhaust from the turbo's all the way back. It is a Matte Black finish and so far has help up since I did it in 2009. Now the ceramic coating I had on my exhaust manifolds & turbo hot sides needs to be redone. But I don't think it was baked on properly when I had it done in 09' so eventually going to have to get those redone.

                  • You changed the name of the thread.. no more sniper performance?

                    • No Ken and I are doing the dual build.

Didn't see the point on having sniper performance in the name if I have my build under his sponsor section.

Trying to keep my title clean. Ken knows hes the main man behind my build.

                      • Paint and degreaser bought today. Need to buy some stainless 2.5"-3"adapter to weld the mufflers. Anyone know of a set? Only ones Ive been seeing online are borla and those are about $50/pop. Found some on summit but unsure if that will work or not.

Just need to buy adapters,hangers..and we are ready to rock and roll

I love these mufflers. Its a shame they have to go under the car. I asked Trisha is she can sleep on the couch so the mufflers can sleep in bed next to me..That was a not so nice punch in the arm

I know how you feel. I could not stop looking at my car parts when I got them. As soon as I got them I opened them up and it felt like christmas.

                              • They look like they'd be a pain to install, but if someone is good at welding it should be easy.
