230/236 .598/.601 112lsa..thats what I am thinking.
the lift is still undecided at this point.
Still entertaining the thought of nitrous down the road.
Lots of cams in the 230* duration range that make serious power.2000 Formula
fixed slow junk

Yes I figure with that cam,I should be set for some years.
Fast intake down the road, with some better heads..maybe a cam change to go along with it, maybe not. I like the 230 duration.

When I buy a pair of 243 heads again. The items I will need to make them work with my 98 are listed below from what I know/can remember. Is my list complete or am I missing something?
1)243s
2)99-02 coil pack brackets
3)center bolt valve covers (certain year?)
4) coil packs? (or can I just reuse my 98's and put them on the 99-02 coil pack brackets?

I would like to buy a cheap drag setup this year. Skinnies and some drag radials. Anyone have any recommendations on brands and certain wheels to look at? Maybe certain ones I should stay away from?
What about gears like previously mentioned. Would a 3.73 be more beneficial for my goals? I forget his name, but on ls1tech his name is lemonsXXXX, He made some rather good points awhile back in a 3.42 v 3.73 debate
Going to be doing the BFH or rolling the fenders. Would like some 17x11 with maybe a 315 or a 305 in the rear (ZR1 wheels specifically).
Jeff, I havn't forgot about the cooler yet
, my spending money should be coming in hopefully soon!! Damn IRS

If you are running drag tires you don't need anything that wide.

Well when we buy a Tahoe or w/e, the Camaro will no longer be a DD in the spring/summer.. Can finally drive it on the days I want to (which will be wwaayy less than the past two years as far as mileage), so thats why I figure a 17x11 (or the 17x9.5) on a drag radials will be good enough for my "street, strip" use
Wish I could afford me some forged wheels
