  • [Project] 2002 Camaro; body and motor.

Well its getting closer to winter I figured I would start my rebuild thread. I'm doing body work (will be listed below) and a LS1 motor swap (still trying get a donor car). I'll keep you all posted when ever I'm doing something new to the car looks or motor ect.

This winter I got me some body parts which some you guys have probly seen already on my other post. I've also got a harwood cowl going on the camaro. new driver door cause the one on there is wrong color and wrong year and I got a great deal at salvage yard matching color. going be wheeling the car out and fine scratch removed. going restore my tt2 and make them shine like new agin. whistler mod lights, slp grill top it off paint back camaro panle to match the slp grill with red camaro fill in.

Swap still unknown, I'm looking on a web where I buy a lot of wrecked cars and rebuild have a couple of diff camaro but want for right price. idk if it will stay auto or go manual its what ever I get my hands on. Want low millage so I can just do a direct swap for right now and later on do a cam and ect. but I will have a set of LongTube with loud mouth or true duel and a good tune. I'll try keep you all updated.

    Pics coming soon!

some more pics too keep pple posted the hood is sitting in a baking booth cause the fiberglass and the gel-colt need be heated before you can primer. harwood say you should drive around with it for it to settle but this way is a lot faster!!!!! only two low spots on the hood all taken car of and the hood didnt need no ajustment for the test fit. The new door is all on with my tented window and door looks. and spoiler is taken off for the drilling of the holes to install the freedom spoiler.

lol thats very true rolo. Well I do have some new pics the hood is painted under and primer up top. the spoiler was all painted but is getting take back down to primer cause they let the spoiler bake and had air bubbles in the spoiler, sooo they had to fill in the spot where the bubble came though its going back to primer and then the top half of hood be painted when the spoiler ready to paint. fyi dont bake freedom spoiler let it air dry not a strong gel-colt like the harwood hood. The whole car is getting buffed and wax =] I was planing on doing my self but you cant pass it up if its free and you have a pro doing it!!!!! Here the new pics.
