yes it was, broke three bones in my foot on the brake pedal. Notice that even the passenger mirror had enough inertia to swing forward. And the tonneau cover flew off.

          I pushed him backwards though

ok so heres a little bit of an update on the truck. tuesday i was suppose to bring the truck into shop and work on it, so monday i asked my teacher if i was still on to do that. previously i wrote him a list of what i had to do and he said he would make a lesson of some of the repairs. well he had no recollection and lost the list so i was pretty mad, he says i wont be able to get it in till next week so he has definitely angered me. anyways i bought my stuff for my oil and trans change, and got some adhesive for the mirrors. i also removed all the snow from the bed on wednesday and noticed there was a nasty old board in the back, funny enough under the board is this rubberized carpeted bed thing....so thats a score id say. anyways this weekend i hope to install my fog lights behind the grille, hang the rearr view, do my fluid changes, and try to fix the misfire.....i still have no clue as to whats causing it

other than my foot, not a bruise on me. the truck did its job. However, had there been a passenger, their foot could have been crushed by the frame buckling on the floorboard. I didnt even realize i broke my foot, i was ready to kick that other guy's ass hard until i stumbled out in front of the thing. I was trapped in my truck for 5 minutes while he was removing his $25 chrome autozone hubcaps and stock stereo. A local resident finally came and got me out of the truck. Then the cops didnt give the jerkoff a sobriety test and they accepted a fake insurance in someone elses name different than the car which wasn't his either. Low and behold he was never to be found again after they carted me off in an ambulance

I love the OBS pickups, they run like tanks and you just can't kill them. . . I inherited my Dad's '93 2WD Stepside standard cab with the 350 TBI and an automatic trans. I didn't realize it didn't have a chassis ground in the electrical system until I had already been driving it a few months. lol

If I had the cash, I'd restore that old rust bucket, all it really needs is fenders, rockers, cab corners, and bedside caps (or a new bed). I think we're gonna wind up selling it though, it hasn't moved in months, and I don't think it's going to be used any time soon.

Mark your plug wires of their location and check the distributor cap and rotor. Take a photo and post it. It's probably all furry and carbon'd up.
If it looks clean, do a compression check of all cylinders. That will help narrow things down.

Very nice truck. Will this be a restoration project or a DD? I hope you will fix the truck up seeing that in 3 years it will be considered an antique.

if the cap and rotor is all fuzzy its usually starteing it corrode in a way..correct? and the truck will be a restoration dd in a way of putting it. im going to drive it and take care of it, and fix it as i go along. it was planned to be more for winter but summer driving will be necessary for awhile since my camaro took a poop on me. the camaro will go through another complete restoration but unfortunately i will be sacrificing the shell for another cars. honestly i have two of my all time favorite vehicles and im only 17 almost 18......and my parents like that i have them because i take very good care of my cars....i know those are just words but its the truth.
