I see want to modify the TBI350. Please don't. the TBI350 is probably the most reliable engine GM ever made. If you want gas mileage you shouldn't have bought it
The TBI doesn't flow, the heads don't flow, the cam doesn't flow, its a low compression block ... by the time you fix all that you could've bought a crate engine. You'll end up spending thousands modifying the TBI350 to gain a couple MPG and lose the awesome reliability it has now. Flip the air lid over if you want it to breathe better (and sound like a four barrel
) and if you really get anxious you could do headers and a full exhaust. But I would stop there.
no, it stands for old body style. Its a stupid internet acronym that originated on internet web-forums because people asking questions about them were not intelligent enough to use their C/K designation.
