well my plan over the winter is to yank stock drive train.

im in the process of building a 383.

i will be fabricating and welding my own SFCs
as well as 6-8 point cage

i will be runing stock 7.5 rear end with series 3 lsd carrier and richmond 3.73 gearset.

only rust i have is a 6 in hole in dead center of drivers floor board. caused by driving over a sign

If your on a budget, I also built my own lower control arms and torque arm. Works very well. Looks good. Keep it going. You got a place to work on it for the winter? Eric L

i parked my camaro around august rust hole in the floor was getting bad and i had just bought an 01 bonneville way better gas mileage

i plan on making my own adjustable torque arm, lower control arms, and cant remember what its called i think the panhard bar?
also reinforcing where they all bolt in with 1/4in steel. same sort of applies for the front.

tube lower control arms (manufactured not built by me) and im gonna reinforce the front with a engine bay tube frame tied into frame rails, bulkhead, and core support

oh yes i almost forgot just before i parked it. i replaced the entire suspension system from center link to tie rods, sway bars, control arm bushings front and rear, strut tower bearings, everything... i put it on digital alignment rack an tweaked the alignment to handle corners tighter will look for the measurements sheet some time. made allot of difference in the way it drove, but it did wear the tires a little faster. in one season wore half the tread of brand new set of bf Goodrich radial t/a tires

nope... lol i plan on going to harbor freight an getting a tarp enclosure and buy kerosene for my heater this winter.
                    ive worked in worse conditions.

had to drob bottom end on a 89 dodge dakota to do rear main seal in car but it was factory rope seal and wouldnt budge so we dropped the crank. dead middle of winter with a tarp draped over the front end and a salamander fun fun
