why convert to fly by wire? I've heard there is a slight delay in throttle feel but I don't have much personal experience with a performance car and it.Doing less with more

Determining factor will be the tunability (mainly part throttle) of a 110-120mm cable tbody and how confident VSPeed is with it. Fly-by-wire allows for better part throttle adjustment....according to them. Problem is they haven't had to build a tbody this big, so they're scratching their heads a little. I am more curious in the secondary electronic BS in what's needed to convert it over. Anything can be made, just trying to get through modifying harnesses, adding sensors, etc.
Sean, I would hate to leave a few ponies on the table and only make 789 when I could crush the dyno with a 791!

my vette is Drive-by-wire and I never noticed any delay between it and my f-bodies FWIW. Just sucks you can't pop the hood and yank the cable to rev it

Tbody (as some of you know) is going to another painful, one-off, time consuming process. As of today, it will be a fly-by conversion...size still in that 115-120 range, built by one of two fabrication artists....Nick Williams or John Marcella. Those same people know I brought this 'minor redirect' to my biggest supporter, my wife, over dinner last weekend. Here is the Reader's Digest version of that conversation-------- her=>
