Brought the machined block home today. Bores are all around 4.152 and are ready for the final hone once the pistons come in. Just have to run a tap through the threads and rifle brush it after its honed. Then the final washing and then on to ASSEMBLY!!!

Received some more parts this afternoon. I went with a Edelbrock carb because Cliff Riggles has a 6-7 month waiting list for a custom Q-Jet. So when I decide its time to add some better heads, I will let him know in advance.

Still a few things to order up like an oil pan, valley pan, various misc. stuff (Probably end of next week). Stroker kit is about two weeks out from arriving.

The more torque you have at 2500, the higher the actual stall will be. I'm planning around 325-350ft/lbs at 2500rpm. Plus, I would have more of a wider rpm range with a lower stall. I don't plan on running this motor past 5200-5400 rpm because thats not a pontiac's strong suit. They are built for low end torque and thats exactly what I want out of this project.

your stahl should be at your max torque, so if its 2500 then get a 2500 stahl ,very easy to figure out really.. good luck with this, hope all comes together soon for you..

Well today I got some bronze liners in the heads. Just have to finish honing the guides and cut some seats and its on to assembly. Hopefully next tuesday the heads will be done with the machine work.

I was hoping for it to be. But it looks like I may have to wait till next spring. I still have a lot to do because of work, school, etc. But I am going to put a new rear end in it as well and save myself the hassle of doing it later. I just wish I had the time and money to do it this summer but I'm not going to rush it and end up with a broken rear end just to bring it out this year.
