Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

well i woke up this morning and found a box of parts on the table. My dad decided to get all of the gaskets, and a grant steering wheel. Now we just need to finish putting together the motor and grab a carb from my uncle and its ready to roll, i mean go
well heres a real update. We got the motor back together today, well most of it. Now we need a new oil pan gasket, the one we had was broke, and it was on the old motor for less than 500 miles. So once we get that we can put the motor and trans back in the car, put a carb on and wire it up then hopefully she will start
So thanks to the warm weekend we had, i got alot done to the car IMO. Pushed it out of the garage and well my sister can drive lmao.
Pulled all of the unknown wires and the main engine harness so we can get ready to paint under the hood. It will look good when its finished.
Here's the pics i took after the was, the car looks cleaner but the tree sap really did a number on the paint job. Now we have more of a reason to paint it. How does Hugger Orange sound??????????
Holy 4x4 Batman!
My new baby!
And these wheels are starting to grow on me
I used a 2000psi power washer to get it clean. All of the wheels washed up nice except for one. Also going to get a sticker made in memory of my Grandpa who passed away this morning
Sorry to hear about your grandpa. The car looks pretty good after that wash! And I still have to say - I really like the 4th gen salad shooters on 3rd gens.
Thanks. When we first got the car, i hated them, but since they cleaned up so well, they can stay. The tires are dry rotted in the treads so it wont see any road time really. It will see a couple of smokey burnouts though since they aren't any good.
Well we got some paint today for the engine bay. Hopefully it stays nice out for the next couple of days to get it cleaned and painted, then we can go ahead and drop the motor and trans back in and hooked up, and finally get a carb for her. Hopefully we can get this rolling because im itching to drive it NOW
Painted the engine bay flat black, looks good. May put the motor and trans in tomorrow, and try to wire everything up and get a carb. Hope it gets running soon

I am saddened by your loss, I lost my favorite aunt this past week. But on the up side those salad shooters look better on a 3rd gen than on a 4th gen imo. Good work!
Motor and trans are all bolted in. Gonna clean the old gaskets off of the headers and bolt them on. Getting the carb and the y pipe around the first of the month
I pulled out the computer and all of the wires going to the engine bay. They were already cut so it shouldnt effect anything. Does the computer also control the dash instruments and lights? If we have to hook it back up then thats no big deal. Im guessing the fuel pump was already ran to a relay being all he wires were cut already. Going to parts galore sometime Sunday to grab a few engine accessories since we cant find one piece and we have a bunch of them around here somewhere. All said and done, the carb will be bought after the 1st pay check of the month and then, well, hopefully she starts. How hard is it to pull the gas tank? The car has some gas in it but it smells bad. We poured a bottle of fuel stabilizer in the tank so hopefully we can run it all out, if not then thats gonna suck
