Well, I didn't end up using primer, I just wetsanded the bad areas back down with 320 then used a red scotchbrite pad to scuff the rest of the previously sprayed areas.
Just got my last coat of clear layed down
I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, especially being my first time using a spraygun.
I do have some small crap (lint and such) that ended landing in the clear. I don't think it's gonna be a big deal though once I wet sand the clear. I'll try and get some pics posted up soon.sigpicTurbo Charged LS1/T56

All in all, I am very happy with the way these pieces turned out. I learned alot doing this project and am looking forward to painting a few more things in the future. After the paint sits for awhile I'm going to probably wetsand with 2000 and then some light compound.
Here's a few pics to show the process.
First 2 are after the Bulldog adhesion promoter was layed down
After the first coat of color
Dork
After color and clear
I tried to show some closer up pics so you could see the quality of the surface finish on the clear but it's hard to see being white. I found out that the clear lays alot differently than the color and really has to be put on heavier. My first coat was too light and the finish was grainy. The second and third coat I put on much heavier...so heavy that I felt I was on the verge of making it run.
But luckily it didn't.

Can you argue that it's "revolutionary"? Perhaps. Just because it's "new" and "different" doesn't mean it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
