Cars been sitting, waiting for the new intake setup, which is fine, cause Ive been busy with school, 20credits this semester, and my free time has been spent finishing old projects and trying to get them sold, so that I can pay for school and keep the car.
but enough of my sob story, the "air bridge" will be here wednesday, so im hoping I have time to get it fit, and start the car again, and then Ill be able to start looking at whats wrong with it again... maybe get some miles on it this weekend.

haha no hoopla, just something different. It also spaces the MAF a bit farther from the TB, which should help.Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View Postwhats the hoopla with that new intake? looks like a C5 system.

Hey, Trevor is this a better place to re-open the discussion in your quest for 700 at the wheels?
I remember your post on Tech (and recently here) about it and wondered if you've given any more thought to what its going to take.....without influence of part time horsepower (aka giggle juice).sigpic

I'd be interested in that discussion as well, of course in a friendly manner please don't take anything I say personally Trevor.Originally posted by OVRKILL View PostHey, Trevor is this a better place to re-open the discussion in your quest for 700 at the wheels?

Still busy with school, but I worked on it yesterday, got the computer mounted, Changed the oil and filter... some other little stuff. Trying to get it done for a car show last night. starts and runs really nice. but the trans wont go into gear. GRRR.
As far as the new intake. It looks awesome... and without and tuning the car was idling at 450RPM!!! smooth.
the Halltech intake puts the MAF over a foot from the TB... guess it cleared up the MAF reading at idle.
I started it, and remembered I forgot to adjust the throttle set screw, but it was fine, idling smooth at under 500RPM. It was awesome, I revved it a couple times and it didnt stall went right back to 450. HALLTECH MF107R FTW.
on to the clutch issue... the new clutch feel weird... as best as I can explain it, the pedal pressure is uneven.... but with the clutch to the floor(an unusually high force(much more than my SPEC 3)) I tried to put it in reverse and it wouldnt so(sometimes it did that to me before) so I pushed until I thought Id break the shifter and it wouldnt go...
so I tried first(looking back probably a bad idea) nothing bad happened, but it did start creeping forward, like it was almost going into gear... guess I get to tear the ****ing thing apart again. RAWR.
btw here the idle video. from my tbolt... bad sound quality. sorry
