    Thanks.

No issues, I didnt want to mess with modifying my baffle and stuff for the big crank.

You have the powder work done in town?

Thanks Brent, Im trying a different approach, lol. The pan is the only thing Im gonna leave blingy, cause I really couldn't bring myself to paint it.

Yea, I had it done at Superior Powdercoat in Fenton, 1/4mi from my house. There were a few issues, but overall they did a good job.

      • Looks amazing! I was thinking of doing that gun metal grey color for my components as well but just went with black. Who is doing your powdercoating?

          • Great choice to have all that stuff powdercoated. I am doing the same to mine. I love how PowderCoat holds up so well. My last car had a lot of stuff done, will never go back to paint

They've done stuff for me too. They do pretty good work for the price and turn around. Have another box of stuff headed their way soon....

                  Yea, I guess.

They are extremely quick, and cheaper than Ive seen elsewhere. So I won't complain, about a few issues.

Let me know where you're gonna be in the area, Im just down Shiawassee a 1/4 mile...

                  • I might have to have that place do the stuff I need done. You guys said the price is reasonable? The place I usually have it done at us all the way in canton which is a DRIVE.

Care to elaborate on the issues you had with them? I don't want them to screw my stuff up

                    • Its really not a huge deal, I just wasn't thrilled with the work. He messed up the color on a couple things, but he re-did the parts that day. He says the powdercoat on powdercoat will be fine... I hope so...

The finish on some of the Gloss black parts turned out sub par...

Hi visible, show quality, I'd say no. Misc brackets, suspension pieces, all day. I had "fish eyes" on some of my stuff. Because they are low visibility, no big deal. Had the same stuff quoted else where as was 50-75% more, but would have been a show quality effort. As Trevor said, great pricing and quick turnaround time.

Is this the oil pan you have? It shows there is no provision for a dipstick. Whats up with that?

because the dipstick in an LS block goes through the bottom of the block. not into the pan, err like in through the pan.
