    • What do you guys think of this new coil mount I made? location? any thoughts?

This is just a first draft, ill make a new one tomorrow.

I was originally going to try and use oil pan bolts... but it looks like the motor mount bolts will work out better, or some unused block bolts.

Pictures are courtesy of my thunderbolt. damn impressive.

      • I like it unless you have to service them....

o·vr·kill [oh-ver-kil]1. an excess of what is required or suitable, as because of zeal or misjudgment.

Yes, that would be difficult, but
How often have you had to service your coils?

                      • I am not sure if your running knock sensors in the bottom of the block, and I am sure I am preaching to the choir about this but I would keep them away from the knock sensor wires. They could cause radio interference and mess with the sensor. Hence why they wrap the coil wires in foil tape to stop them from interfereing with anything or themselves being interfered with.

Again I am sure you know this but I just feel the need to post it for others.

                        BTW motor/build looks badass.

                          • supposed to be better than the f-body pan which is said to uncover the pick-up during hard launches

I only have a stock pan on mine, dont even have the improved racing baffle in it. I am trying to figure out what to upgrade to.
