      yes and there is a flip side to that about being too small.. so it goes both ways

                now i got some options i been told i could do is use an over jetted 600 or down jett an 800... i wonder if those will work as well..

                  How about this carb? When you check you mileage it won't be MPG it will be in Gallon Per Mile!

                        All joking aside, I run a dominator (1150) on my 505 big block chevy and get around 8 mpg with it. Is it great...................no, but for a mid 9 sec car, I think its ok considering my friends 454 dually gets the same, lol. Eric L

                            For a street motor and this set up i would go with someting around 650cfm or so .. Would be plenty and give you very snappy throttle resp. a 800cfm with this motor is not needed.. Way to big. Problem is most people over carb there motors! I deal with A.E.D CARBS. There great. very nice carbs. I would recumend them to anybuddy!

                              i agree 650 for street. I have a real close engine setup. I run a 750 with mechanical secondaries, but if i drove it on the street. I would swith to a 650 or 700. you will get your best results from tuning anyway. ( my Belief)
