His turbo build is under 2K right now but lets see what happens when its been put through its paces and is able to run some numbers, I bet it will turn up like any other "budget" build. Cheap isn't fast or reliable, I'd love to be proven wrong though.

I hope i can prove you wrong(in a good way)
but like you said... we will see how it will hold up being daily driven from Michigan and Ohio and ran hard some days and then driving to and from the track somedays... thats making me a little worried talking about it right now... but theres no worries

            driven to ohio?

yep im still in school cars were it but now its not. accounting haha what a change but it comes easy to me.

i prolly had around 2k into my 408 stroker after selling my old motor and exhaust ect. i shoulda just turbo'd the damn thing haha but with a stock 100k engine i didnt think it woulda lasted long.

we'll have to hit lapeer up next year, even tho its shitty i hope to break 10's no prob, and take a ride out to milan or ubly a few times as well

trust me I want you to pull it off but as I mentioned earlier I'm very surprised at your current cost because its very rare to do any FI build on the cheap and not have it break all the time. I think you have cut major cost though building your own hotside and finding a cheap turbo and fuel system, I just hope they both work out for ya.

the only question i have since i wasnt sure how i was gonna do it, but how are you gonna route the exhaust threw the stock k member? i know it can be done and it is indeed a tight squeeze, going next to the motor mount? that outlet on that holset 3inch? wait i now see you say you notched the k member. any better pics?

ive seen a few setups go under the k member8-O but that looked plain retarted

i work in lapeer i should take a ride out and see it

Yes i am going to route the exhaust through the stock k-member.
i have Spohn solid motor mounts which help a good amount for clearance for a 4" downpipe to squeeze through there.
i only notched the k-member for the exhaust manifold on the passenger side.
the outlet of the Holset is 4"
If you ever feel like your welcome to come check it out when ever you have time and also when ever i have time

                  --Double post auto merged--

Well finally got my fuel lines plumbed and the SJM abs delete and Line Lock completed also.

here are a few pics of the progress i did this past weekend...

The fuel crossover line is a little bit too long... but it will do

Alternator fitment... it lines right up with the other components
