I'd paint them a high temp black and wrap them or send them out to be ceramic coated. The wrap is going to keep the engine a bit cooler but the ceramic is going to look better IMO. Ceramic = cosmetically looking better Black w/wrap = performance. What would you rather have?2005 Yamaha R6

got the block all painted up last night but had to crash for a few hours...un-masked it this morning and am pretty happy with the way it looks. i put the motor mounts on but thats about it. today i think im going to work on my dash pad a little and maybe my headliner..hopefully it turns out ok...
yes..both the paint and primer are duplicolor hi-temp engine products.Originally posted by ITSSLOW View Postdumb question, but you did make sure that is high temp primer, correct?

What kind of glue or w/e are you using for your headliner??? Mine headliner is sagging pretty bad now.

i started working on the ignition wiring...mocked everything up to make sure i know where everything goes...once the engine is in ill cut everything to fit and look nice. almost done repairing the crack in the dash pad...nothing like a little gorilla glue and wet sanding. finally got my headliner done and in, thank god, ive been putting that off for too log but now its in and done with. im currently finishing up the dash pad and getting a few other interior parts ready to go in..

got the dash fixed and in...i could be happier with the way it fit in there but i might wind up just running one of those carpet dash pad cover things anyways. i got the two big panels in that go beside the back seat as well as the a pillars. what to do today?
