  • tonight i decided to start taking the k member off because i want to go to powder tomorrow with my spindles and the upper a arm mount along with the timing chain cover and fuel rails. anyways i got the k member completely off.. i just have to take the stuff off of the spindle and get the upper a arm mounts ready.. if im feeling up to it i may start putting the new k member on but im not quite sure.. the old k member is garbage to me...its going out trash on tuesday so if anyone wants it for free and is willing to pick it up then pm me..

              • did you buy a new rack? I noticed its still on k frame. before you trash k frame there are a lot of people looking to upgrade v6 to v8 and will need the v8 k frame. They do go for a 100-125 dollars.

                  • While I don't mean to crap someone out on a good deal, if you're low on money why not throw the kframe up for $75-$100 and let someone buy it off ya from Craigslist or Ebay or one of the other sites?

                      • my summit order came in with my new 2 5/8 gauges and my new shifter. i test fitted one of the new gauges into the existing vent holes and theyre a perfect fit. also i stumbled across some 'extra' money figured id take my block down to chucks and have him do my 4 bolt conversion.. ill get my block back maybe next tuesday-ish? then ill just have to order a few bearings and what not and then ill be ready to start putting the block back together sometime in the week following me getting the block back..

                            • had to make a little space in my room so i decided to throw the new spohn k-member, manual steering rack and lower a-arms on my car...way easy..its such a nice fit, i was honestly supprised..just lifted it up and all 6 holes lined up perfectly lol. looks great though! worth every penny! as soon as i get my strut mounts and spindles ready and they go for powder i can throw the upper a-arms and my kyb adjustable shocks and eibach springs on it...maybe next week? still need to attatch the steering linkage and motor mounts but its newyears eve, sorry but ive got other stuff id rather do tonight enjoy!
