Hey if you're not going to use the ABS or the cruise control let me know... I'd be happy to take them off your hands.

I have an ABS module off my car (54k miles when taken off). Is that what you needed?

My dad thinks I need the ABS unit for the proportioning valve but what I'm really interested in is the cruise control module and the connected cable- the cable is longer on the LT1 than it is on the v6.

Alright well I can get you the abs unit with the proportioning valve no problem...I havnt pulled off the cruise control stuff but its yours when I get it off... I'm not familiar with cruise control, what's involved with it or how to get it all out but ill work on it tomorrow morning or maybe tonight if I get the chance... Am I going to need to take off the brake booster or my clutch master to get it out?

The cruise cable connects where the throttle cable does - right next to it - and then wraps around behind the brake booster (you won't have to take off the booster, just route the cable out from behind it), then there's a box on the driver's side bottom right above the air dam and next to the wheel well splash shield. It's held on with three bolts and will have a large connector plugged into it and then you'll see the cable coming out of it and running towards the master cylinder and up to the throttle cable.

Shoot me a PM when you have them ready to ship and I'll cover shipping at the very least.

If you are looking to remove your ABS unit B you will need a proportioning valve.
                      They are about 50.00.

He's saying that the V6 ABS unit is different than the V8 ABS unit. I don't think there's a difference but he wants me to get an abs unit from an LT1.

                        • I would call a dealer and ask that question or a mechanic that you trust but I think they are the same.

I can't see them making 2 different units.

If you can get me the part # I'll cross it with the ABS unit I tore out of my car.
