oh he did but the paint was already kinda old and i was already planning on repainting so its not that big of a deal i guess

Got my torque arm, driveshaft and tunnel brace off....time to start pulling the bolts from the tranny getting a lot done tonight, everythings going smooth minus not being able to keep my eyes off those roll bars and how good they look

Congrats on the progress. Shoot a PM to BLKHAWK - he's up in Port Huron but he has a guy that does awesome head porting and valve work.

my cam was an edelbrock 525@218 int&exh but my new one is a voodoo 535@231int and 550@239exh
as far as heads go id like to keep the stock heads, just want a nice valve job and some powder for now but everything on the valvetrain is new such as springs, locks, retainers, lifters, pushrods and shims are lunati, arp head studs, 1.5 roller rockers and more.

so today i got the motor out and started to break it down. Cam was a little banged up from a lifter that collapsed just prior to me parking it before leaving for iraq, but other than the cam everything is looking fine. ive got a new opti im going to be putting on when its getting put back together so if anyone needs one let me know id be willing to get rid of it for $50 if you pick it up...just pm me. tomorrow i have to clean up the garage a bit and then i think im going to gut some of the components im deleting for the rebuild like the power steering and all the heater/ac crap.
