The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Yeah... there's like 25 companies that are putting that same supercharger on the car. Personally, I'd like to start seeing some N/A HP combos...

Don't get me wrong - it's cool that all these companies are able to slap the same supercharger on the same engine, but let's see something new?

In the end, all the options are cool - just seems like everyone automatically is going F/I. Vector Motorsports and only one or two others seem to be staying true to offering packages that are N/A. The Supercharged packages are sweet, no doubt, though. Just seems like the natural progression would have been to see tons of companies doing cams, bolt on goodies, etc, and then eventually getting F/I... seems like they jumped to the most extreme packages that a majority of the public can't afford first.

I would think the main reason is being price. Add two easy modifications to the car and make over 550+ hp. Head/Cam package might be a step later on, once perfected. Remember, this is something that has to go back to the dealership to sell to consumers.

That's exactly correct. Dealerships are restricted by the same government regulations at the manufacturers. If they change internal engine components, then they need to get the package re-certified with the EPA. A VERY expensive proposition.
If a dealership violated some emissions regulation they would be subject to a massive fine and possibly even loose their franchise. I'm guessing most dealerships are not willing to take that chance.
So, sorry if "all these superchargers" are boring you, Brian, but they make the most sense and provide the best bang for the buck.

So far I'm pretty impressed. Here is the dyno sheet from the last pull.
Car is responding nicely to these modifications. I look forward to getting this Magnuson supercharger running and see what it puts down after that. Stay tuned.
