If they have a baker it would be no problem to have the paint done in 2 days...The guy that did my electrical got it done in 4 hours and that should have taken at least 8 for all he did...Don't worry professor plum I got faith he will have it done!

I was going to go with a red very similar to yours for the bike when I was putting new metal on it. 1 quart, at painters supply $175. I don't even wanna know what they'd want for purple.

Larry, even my personal guy, a member of the "network" did mine for a little over a grand. I can see the skepticism, but have faith. I honestly am looking forward to seeing it. I'm sure it'll be straight.

The main thing to remember is that we KNOW that the price is "too good to be true." But, we've also heard that he's a step above Maaco. The way we see it - he can't afford too much right now because he doesn't have a job but as long as it looks more presentable than it did when the clear coat was peeling off, as long as the hood matches the color of the rest of the car, and as long as it looks good for a couple years - we're ahead. Even if it only lasts two years and we have to have it repainted in 2011 the right way - for $450 why not? $450 is cheap to get us by for a few more years until spending the money to have it done right.

you know if you pull the nose off you can pull the light covers off and put rectangled fog lights in the nose or set it up as a ram air from the bottom for cooling aswell, but the pointed nose have block off plates in them discoverd that when i changed my front nose.

One of the next mods planned is to put fog lights in. I was hoping to be able to get at the block of plates from under the car!

We sure hope so! He's so anxious he's talking about going over there with my Trailblazer (I drove the Camaro today to test the bump stops) and leaving my Trailblazer there while he drives the 'bird home.
