            • Dennis was talking to a guy from Year One while waiting his turn on the track at Bristol on Tuesday ~ They were talking about his car & Dennis told him he belonged to the WMCC and the guy of course knew of our club & said he remembered donating some parts for a project we were working on and was asking how the car was coming, of course Dennis told him all about it and even told him about this website and the link to check out the progress!

That's great news, Ronnie. It must have been Pat from Year One. If things work out right, I would like to have the Project at the Year One Experience next year.

                • Doug's been working on the car pretty much every day and others have been helping out whenever we can. We worked on 'er for 12+ hours today.

                  7 weeks till Berger!!!

In the last couple of weeks we did about a million little things, got the Pypes Exhaust installed, wiring harness in, and mocked up the shifter location. Also rolled the rear fender lips for tire clearance since the car sits loooow over 9 inch rims. Also have the dash and most of the interior in.
Today we got the radiator support, radiator and fans installed. Also put oil in the motor and primed the engine in anticipation of hopefully firing the motor sometime next week!
James brought over the sweeet shifter relocation bracket he made for us that puts the T56 shifter in the center of the 2nd gen console.
                  It all looks SWEEEEEEEET!!!

That was pretty exciting in a strange way. I guess seeing oil running through the motor for the first time in 22 years was pretty cool!
