I've worked out in the garage the last couple of days, and have made some more progress! My son, Tim has been helping. It's starting to look like a Camaro again!

I just thought it would be funny to see Ray try to get ahold of you and do it cause I'm not sure he can, lol. So I guess that means I'm on your side, lol.

          • Got the 4th gen seats for the project yesterday!!!
Doug and I drove down about an hour east of Indy and picked them up. Got a full set of cloth front and rear seats in REALLY good condition for $75
We spent $90 in gas (600 miles) but we would have spent that on shipping had we needed it.
They are manual seats but Gary has a power pedistal for the project
We will strip the front seat covers and have them recovered to match the '74 interior. Then likely sell the front seat covers and full rear seats to help the project

Dan they are just what you need to match that interior plastic that kemps have.

                          • Hey Derek,

                            Thanks for asking .............

We're in a kinda slow period on the Project right now. We've been collecting some parts. The next big step involves stripping the bottom of the body and painting it. Then we can begin to reinstall the rear end, gas tank, fuel & brake lines, gas tank, sub frame, etc.

We've also got a few more items to get listed on ebay as well as order the wheels and Wilwood brakes.

I've been cleaning undercoating off the brake and fuel lines between other side projects. Once we get past the painting of the bottom of the body finished and I get my son's Saturn back together, I think things will move along more quickly.
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered
