I know it's not a V8 or an F-Body but it's different and I figured I'd post something with all my mod's for once

I bought an H22A1 for my Honda last summer; for those of you that don't know what it is: It's a 2.2 DOHC motor out of a Honda Prelude. I never got around to getting it bored or anything and I can't sell it so I thought I'd start building it this time around.

The H22 has an FRM lining on the cylinder walls so there are only 2 places in the world that can bore it. I'm planning on sending it to Golden Eagle to get bored this summer and to get the bottom end installed.

    Mods so far:

Mahle Gold Series Forged Pistons 11:5.1 CR, .25mm over
    Probe H beam Forged Rods
    ARP Main Stud Kit

This will be a LONG project as it is not a priority.

I'm going to keep it as stock looking as I can as all of my money willl be directed at the motor itself, the steelies with have drag radials on them, and it'll be lowered with tint and thats about it. It'll most likely get painted next summer, this year I might stop the rust thats forming on the rear fender's.

Also that picture is right after I clayed, polished, and waxed it. The car is actually turning pink from oxidation, the hood is peeling, and the roof is fading.

I think this is a bad ass project and it will probably surprise quite a few people if you manage to not put a fart cannon on it, it'll probably beat a lot of cars on this site.

I'm going to hope for 11's on slicks with a full interior. It's my daily so it's not going to be that crazy. Thats also if I manage to get it bored. It has a fart cannon on it now because the stock exhaust broke off and it was like $130 shipped lol, but yes no fart cannon will be going on it when it's built.

I don't think he wants to go all out on this build so it doesn't really matter its just a little DD with some umph.

K20's are over-rated. Too much work. for the same amount of power of an H-series.

That Civic is my daily and I love Honda's. I have 190k on the clock and she's stil going strong. Honda's are great daily's.

It might get fully built and it might not. My plans are, fully studded block, the current pistons and rods, mildly ported head, oversized valves, dual valve springs, turbo cams, and some nitrous, with an H2B set-up with a blacksheep trans.
