        Since everyone else is doing it... I dropped the tank out.. Piece o cake... I wouldnt recommend it any other way.. I've done my fair share of fuel pumps in Fbodies.

                          I'm slowly talking my dad into doing the trap door method - the fact that people on Cz28.com said they were able to do the ENTIRE trap door cutting, remove and replace the fuel pump, and patch back up in an hour flat makes the job seem a lot better than dropping the rear end, dropping the exhaust, dropping all the heat shields, and then dropping the fuel tank.

                              We're tentatively planning sometime tonight, this week or this weekend - all depends on what is going on with my dad's car. If his car is getting wheeled out tonight, then we'll work on my car - if it's not being wheeled out tonight then we're working on his car.

                                The wiring for the pump will take a little bit of time as well Brian but its an easy couple hour job for a first timer, just make sure you have some small screws, RTV, and a piece of sheetmetal to cover it up.
