I don't think I've done an hour of work! I keep finding reason to stop back at home, haha! I only live a mile from work.

You are telling me! haha! It has Eibach Sportlines or so that's what the last owner told me. I think it looks bad ass sitting there. Looks like it just wants to tear the shit out of some mustangs! Haha!

Those have to be Sportlines Fred. I had them on my car for a quick minute.

Yeah my camaro came with the pro kit and that sagged terribly in the rear.

I want to take out the drivetrain this weekend and wondered if anyone wanted to join me... Plenty of beer and pizza can be provided!

I just ordered my camshaft! I went with the Vengeance Racing LS3 Stage 2 camshaft. I also got a set of 7.4" hardened pushrods and the TEA Dual Valve Spring kit. Which brings me to even good more news!

So I took the valve covers off to see what kind of springs are on the head, single or double, and found out that hey are only single. But when I went to put the cover back on I noticed the top of the head bolt was dark, so I looked closely and they are ARP head bolts. This means I can sell the head bolts that I just got in my bolt/gasket kit!

Edit: That means I have an ARP Head Bolt kit to sell I almost forgot that pre 2004 head bolts aren't all the same size and my LS3 is after 2004 which has head bolts that are all the same size.

Just order the cam sprocket! All I need to order is the cover, the sensor that goes on it and the LS3 Intake Valves!

Well I decided to start taking apart the little parts on the car that will help out the processes tomorrow and let me tell you I HATE nitrous! There are so many wires and the person that installed it when zip tie crazy! That guy should never be allowed to touch a zip tie AGAIN!!! I understand having a clean setup but having a zip tie every 4"... Since someone bought it though I took my time and labeled everything I could to help the new owner out and I took plenty of pics. I didn't get it all out because I ran out of light, but I'll be up bright and early back at it.

I do have one question though... I found this under the driver part of that dash. It is spliced into a big yellow wire that runs under the dash by the steering wheel and it also has a wire with a connector on it and it was mounted by the Diagnostics port.

Are you talking about for the nitrous... If so it isn't hooked up to any of the nitrous wiring because I have all of that out now. Does anyone know what that big yellow wire is under the dash, it goes to a connector that attaches to the bracket that goes around the steering column. Maybe that will give a hint as to what it could be for...

usually red yellow brown wires in that area would mean remote start or alarm. An alarm normally has a couple plugs bigest 8-10 wire then small blue green wires for door locks and another 2 wire that goes to shock sensor.

Did the car have remote start? Only wire that I can think of tapping into that would be going up the steering column would be the VATS wiring.

Th car may have had a remote start with the first owner, but the guy I bought it from didn't mention anything about it nor did I get a remote for that.

AS far as my progress today... Well I didn't get as much done as I had hoped. My dad needed some help today and a few old friends decided to stop by.

I did get the wiring harness unplugged, the coolant drained, intake assembly apart, exhaust removed, driveshaft & torque arm out. I just need to drain the engine oil and the trans oil and start unbolting the suspension to drop it out.

If anyone wants to stop by tomorrow just give me a PM.

The only other thing it could be(which I highly doubt because it REALLY looks like a remote start box I used to have) is something airbag related, yellow wires around the steering column are usually airbag.
