As far as how I'm feeling, like maybe I need Depends on when I get in it and drive it. At least Emily can get me a discount on them.

My car roared Saturday night and I'm still working on getting the vid ready. I loaded some video editing software on my 'puter and it screwed things up but I think I might have the kinks out now.

          • Congrats on getting it fired up! I'm really happy for you, Red - can't wait to see it at the M&G!!!!!

Kyle - why the MSD coil? Surprised you guys went with that considering all the problems people have with that. I wanted to upgrade but after I read about all the issues with the MSD coil I said screw it and kept my stocker since most people return to that one anyway.

Thanks Larry. I'm excited to the point that I'll have to bring my inhaler with me....seriously! I think just getting in the car and driving it will bring on an asthma attack without it.

I just hope things turn out good for you and Brian when you pull the engine again. Perhaps things won't be as bad as they seem right now. Keep your chins up guys!

                      • B, I haven't heard a bad thing about MSD at all.
I use MSD on my car all the time and I have never had issues.

Car will be going to see Travis on Wed. @ 1pm.

I got the car running better now too
Time to get the little things done and get her back to Red

And if Time permits we will both be going to see Steve before the M&G for tunning

Really? I was reading on CZ28 and LS1Tech and have heard personal accounts how people put MSD coils on their car thinking it was an upgrade even though their stocker coil worked and then the MSD stopped working almost immediately. Put the stocker coil back in and it works fine and lasts forever. I'm sure it can't be half bad or else they wouldn't be making them though... I'd trust your experience with them more than all the fear mongers on the forums. Just like all the fear mongering with FRAM filters.

I hadn't seen any issues with them until here recently, now I have seen 4 different cases of them collapsing. And that is with using the proper oil filter wrench. I won't ever put one on my car again.
