Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Boy have I got a story for you guys. But first....Took the car for a ride around the block and I'm gonna have to buy me some brown pants. That cam had the car a shakin' and it's like I told Kyle and Hills, its way better than a quarter vibrating bed in a cheap motel. I think Kyle is right....it will shred rubber. Mission (almost) accomplished!
So now on to the long, sad, story that no one really wants to hear but I'm going to tell anyhow. Kyle removed the windshield cowls and wipers cause I had purchased new ones. So I got to thinking now would be a good time to replace the windshield. We all know how they get those annoying little chips and what not that are always in one's line of vision. So I went up to GR today to wait for Henderson Glass to arrive cause Kyle had some errands to run. Well one guy finally shows up and I thought that was odd cause they said it would be two. The guy told me that he had glass for a T-top and the other guy had to go to the Ann street warehouse and was on his way with the right glass. I asked this guy to watch his jacket cause it had snaps on it and didn't want him to lean on the car and scratch it. Well he took it off but I don't think he liked me for it. So he tells me he can get started and get the glass while waiting for the other person to arrive. At this point, Tammie comes out and we were standing around talking. She had to run in the house a minute and at this point the guy puts one rubber cup on the windshield and I asked him if he needed help. He said no, no and proceed to remove the windshield. The rubber suction cup released and the windshield came down on my roof.
At this point, I just took a deep breath and said, "that's why you have insurance. He said, "Its' pretty difficult to work with people hovering and trying to have a conversation with you.
SOOoooooo now I just kinda went
I really wanted to
I walked to the backyard, got on the phone with Henderson Glass and said, "Hey, it's me and I AM PISSED!" Told April what he did and said and told her I was nearing 30 G's into my car and if I wanted to hover, I WOULD!
So by now the other guy shows up and he was the only one brave enough to come talk to me. I told him the same thing I told April. And this jerk also got on Tammie when she came out with the camera and took pictures.
So this is my long, sad, story that you really didn't want to hear but read anyways. At least I have a new windshield and the car will go down to finishing touch on Monday or Tuesday for a guesstimate as to what this will cost Henderson Glass.
In the mean time, Kyle's the man when it comes to rebuilds.
At this point, I just took a deep breath and said, "that's why you have insurance. He said, "Its' pretty difficult to work with people hovering and trying to have a conversation with you.
That guy just needs to find a new job. When I had the windshield replaced in my 87 Firebird, me and my wife we're in his garage shooting the shit with him and i even helped him place in the new windshield because his helper wasn't there.
That sucks that he damaged your car, hope he looses his job over it. In this economy there's no room for half assed work.
Man It is just unbelievable what some clowns will say. This guy sounds like he would be better suited pumping out septic tanks.
Good one, Larry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to hear, Mary Sue. Can't wait to see and HEAR your "new" car.
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered

Every one was still there when I got home and the 2nd guy was way nicer about the whole deal when I got there.
He gave Red a paper with a # to call so the problem can be resolved.
I find it funny that the 2nd guy said that the 1st guy was just in a hurry and should have waited.
He said "That is the whole reason we have 2 people to do these."
But on a good note, the car kicks ass and I'm very eager to get it to Baker on Monday to see HP #
Red did get a new Optima Yellow Top battery and that help the car big time.
That other one was week and i think it was affecting the voltage of how the car was running.
Tomorrow I will install the rear shocks and do a u-joint.
We are waiting on the LC-1 Wide-band to come and then that will be going in along with a Oil pressure gauge from Auto Meter.
