Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

$50 for the Fast Jeff. And I'm also getting impatient on this TB. Mine didn't come again today. If it's not here tomorrow when I get home from work I'm gonna make a call. Plus for some reason the tracking number won't show where it is at.
I put 10 miles on the car today and it ran great, no leaks or anything and with open cutout it just sounds plain nasty more of an update on the crazyness tomorrow morning.
Ok so here is the full story, no it is not tuned fully it just has a base tune on it so I can get it to Phils house. We had an eventful day yesterday, first the guy that is shipping out my intake and TB sends it to my house like I told him not to so Campbell had to go grab it and bring it up to the shop so we could put it on. After cleaning it all up and reassembeling the intake and putting it on we were immediatly faced with another problem, the cam on the TB was the 00-02 style which requires a longer throttle cable to work. Not knowing this we quickly tried to think of someone who had the TB I needed and made about 10 phone calls to our buddy Vince since his car was down with a broken trans. After all the calls and no answer we decided to take matters into our own hands and drove to Vince's house, open his car and garage and used his tools to steal his TB and headed back to the shop after leaving him a note to not try and start his car
Once back if was obvious the problem was the size of the cam on the TB and so we threw Vince's TB on until I could fix the one I got. The car fired right up, so I did a good job on swapping the cam sensor wires, and it sounded very quite for the first time in a long time. We let it warm up and learn the idle again and then took it for a test drive where I so badly wanted to plant it to the floor but managed not to. It was generally a good day and the car ran great, thanks Mike for giving me a hand.
