Got some new tires. I was in desperate need of these. Right before I put the steelies on I was driving home in the rain on the highway and dropped it to third. Wheelspin, at 70mph, not fun at all. Scared the shit outta me. Anyway, got some Riken Raptors off of EXTREME. Man I love the way a directional tire looks.

^Anyone know how to get these wheel weights off? I thought off maybe goo-gone or something like that but I am afraid I will mess up the paint. And holy shit, tire shops want like 70 dollars to mount the new tires. I thought it would be 25-30 tops.

They just use some tape on the back like 3M so they should just come right off.

I spun my tires when I floored it at 55mph getting onto I-75 in the rain, haha. I wasn't so much scared, but surprised - then I started laughing.Originally posted by my95z28 View PostWheelspin, at 70mph, not fun at all.
Those look like some badass tires, I remember how much of a difference getting new tires on my Camaro was.
The worn Goodyears it had on it when I bought it made driving in the rain a little fun...but I had to take it easy when turning left...thing would get way sideways in an instant.Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

They will have to be taken off when the new tires go on, and I have had bad luck with other people not doing jobs up to my standard. IE scratch the **** outta my rim when taking those off.

I'm only a few months late here, but the company is classic chambered industries and they're out of milford michigan. The owners a real nice guy, he even met me halfway to pick up the mufflers for my TD's.1996 CAMARO Z\28 M6
