My friend had bulbs that looked blue but shinned amber when lit up. He had them in an S10, got them from autozone.

Never thought of painting the bulbs, but i would probably get some type of silver or chrome paint as you said. Just put a light coat on them and see what they look like. If they turn out good let me know so i can do mine aswell. Good luck!

They make clear bulbs that light up amber, there called stealth bulbs or something, let me see what I can find....

^^ nice link!! I decided against painting them myself, it absolutely killed the light. I had maybe 25% light let, and I'm not going to do that. I might do the stealth bulbs, but DAMN, they are 15.00 per bulb!

As most people know, my car was hit right around Christmas. I have full coverage, it is currently in the body shop. Pictures of the damage followed by pictures of it in the current state of being fixed.

The rear 1/4 was damaged obviously, and the impact shoved the car into the snow bank in front of where it was parked. It's getting a new 1/4 welded on, and the front and rear bumpers are being stripped and resprayed. :fingerscrossed: that it comes out good.

I got quite the odd looks taking pics of someone elses car as everyone was pulling in for class.
