Thanks, but to the shock and suprise to many on here I plan to leave mine stock for next few years. It has more power than last few cars, so I am enjoying it the way it is. I need hood and hatch painted first because of clear coat peeling. The thing I want the most is the ram air hood.

                  • Well here's the deal for tonight...

Radiator has to be swapped and then hoses all connected up.
Transmission line needs to be ran from the trans to the radiator. For the first start up, I think we should be perfectly safe not using the external trans cooler just yet since we won't be driving it around. Radiator fluid has to be topped off and then we need to fill the transmission with fluid.

But here's the possible issue: Steve's laptop is having problems with being able to flash the PCMs. He's getting some sort of COM error. He's willing to come over and see if I can fix his laptop for him so it will work, so we'll see - it *might* start tonight!

                              • Well, today was a no-go. Steve called around 5 and said he was stuck at Vector working on a car on the dyno. He's going to come over tomorrow and shoot for Noon. As soon as I got off the phone, I sent out a text message to give an update. Felt bad - Kyle was at 24 and Schoehnerr and he decided to turn around. Craig decided he was already almost there so he came over anyway. It kinda worked for the better anyway because we were pushing to get everything tied up but since we knew Steve wasn't coming until tomorrow we were able to slow down and take our time.

Got the automatic radiator installed, trans lines have been ran from the trans to the radiator (that was a ***** and took the most time), fans have been installed and plugged in, and then we started working on the steering knuckle.

When my dad installed the rag joint eliminator, he flipped the knuckle 180 degrees by accident and now the steering wheel in turn has to be 180 degrees off (upside down, in other words) for the knuckle to go into the steering column. Obviously that's not right so we gotta undo the bolts and fix it.

In any case, we're basically ready to start tomorrow. Radiator has been topped off, and 5 quarts of trans fluid have been poured in.
