    • I'm really hoping to hear from him tomorrow - I took Friday off from work so the engine will be installed and should be ready to fire up by Saturday at the absolute latest.

One step closer. We got the tires back onto the rear end and lifted them back onto the tires instead of the jack stands. Getting a lot closer but we got a lot of work to do still.

Before the engine goes back in, I'm going to repaint the firewall (including the areas that I missed on the other side of the heater core and the vacuum booster) and then the frame rails that are already black with Chassis Coat so it will be a regular black that's not UV sensitive. Getting closer!

                    • They're 275 tires, I'll be getting 315s all in due time.

3.42 rear gears according to Kyle.

6 speed cars come with 3.42. Your rear end came from a 6 speed car. Yup Kyle is correct.
