Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Come on, Brian! You've had this motor for about a week now, and it STILL isn't cammed, bored, stroked, blown, and installed in Red Alert yet?!?!?!! I must say, sir, that I am indeed very disappointed. . .
lol j/k How's the progress going? Did you find any deals on the rest of the parts you're gonna need?
Yeah I haven't done anything with it yet. I haven't had any evenings yet to do anything with the stuff except to help my dad unload it last night. Plus, I only got it on Wednesday night so REALLY I've only had it for a day and a half.

Looks like you have a ton of work ahead of you. It took me nearly one month to swap the opti, water pump, and delete the A/C. Its hard to find the time for this stuff. A couple hours here and there.
Your lucky cause you have all winter to take your time. You need to throw some paint on that thing, and polish some stuff up. If you have any issues with the mighty LT1 you have plenty of people with knowledge on this board. Your going to love it once shes installed.
My dad and I have a lot of dress up plans, don't worry. Let's just say that when it goes into the car it's going to be red, black, and shiny as heck!
Dad and I popped one of the valve covers off. The pictures are taken just as it was taken off, it was that spotless and clean inside. Made my dad and I pretty happy to see it that clean.

Oh. . . My bad. . . I thought he got it last week for some reason. Still, 1 1/2 days is plenty of time to get that thing cammed, bored, stroked, blown, and everything else. . . lol Looks like you got a good deal! I can't wait to see it in person!
