Wow, sweet build man! No idea how I missed this one for sooo long! Looking great..

Had a few days off and decided it was time to get the new seats installed. Made a quick call to James (Coors Light 1) and had some adapters made up. They are 1/4" aluminum plate 1 1/2" wide and 15" long (thanks again James).

Took a quick drive to the "centre of the universe" to get Mr. Bastard to drill a few holes in the plates to mount them up to the seats and factory sliders. Holes for the seats are 11 1/2" (on centre) and sliders holes are 14" (on centre).

When I got them back I sprayed them with some black bed liner coating. I used the original bolts to mount the bracket to the seat. Picked up some 5/16" x 1" bolts to mount the bracket to the factory sliders and tighten everything up. I also cleaned up the sliders and applied some POR-15 I had left over.

Got them mounted in the car and gave them a try. Everything works great. Seats sit a little higher than stock but they are super comfortable and suportive.

Kind of hard to work on the car in the winter so I've been working on collecting parts for a suspension upgrade. Need to reclaim the pool table soon

Also, adding new Stainless Steel brake lines (thanks to Inline Tube for a great product).

Been under the Camaro lately cleaning the undercarriage in preparation of using some POR-15 getting applied in the spring.

Meanwhile, I picked up some more new parts for when I replace the suspension and all the lines. Did a rough mock up on the pool table.

Can't wait for spring...note to self, put car on hoist getting too old for the creeper.

I disapprove of the use of that pool table!!!!!

However looks like you got some fun waiting to go on the car!? Does POR 15 need to be applied during warmer temps, is that why you are waiting for spring?

just rewent throught the wole thread. i somehow missed a page or two. looking really great except those rear greyish seats tick out like no ones business. you need like black ones with blue piping or something

It is getting cold here...but...I'm getting old and will wait till I get it on the hoist in the spring. Might redo the wheel wells while I'm at it.

The rears are the original factory seats. I plan on recovering them later on.

I'm waiting for spring but still collecting parts. I picked up a Harwood show series cowl hood for later on.

I also have a gallon of POR-15 and Duplicolor Bed Armour ready to do the underside of the car when it gets on the hoist.

Soon. It's -26 with the wind chill right now.

Car will be going to the shop in a few weeks. Right now I'm pulling the heads off the 305 for some screw-in studs, then installing the ZZ4 cam GMPP springs, locks and retainers and getting the engine together with a comp cams double roller timing chain before the car goes on the hoist.

Will be sending the k-member, a-arms and engine accessory brackets over to the powder coater while I work on the undercarriage.

Also decided to pull the headliner down as it was sagging pretty badly.
