Finally!!!! Aright so.. found a transmission for 50 bucks.. picked it up today. Yesterday I got outta work early, decided to machine my rotors. I've got the 4th gen brake upgrade and well the rotor had a bit of nasty rust on em. Also pulled my power steering gear box and cooler off. No need for that so.. anyone need it? Got my new jack and stands this week so its helped out quite a bit. My heads had some some nasty dirt on em from the dust and oil so I took those to work and cleaned em up. Holy crap... so I took off the pan on this new trans.. EWWW. Someone decided to store the trans with gear oil in it to keep it from rusting. Well I donno how long its been in there but, its basically turned into butt mud. Got into it a little further and everything seems fine. Heres some trans pics. First one is the gear oil that has turned into sludge.. The second is the case.. pretty clean just need to hot tank it. which I couldnt get done today. The third pic is for the 1-2 accumulator. I had to drill and tap two holes in the case to plug it for the manual valve body.
