Finally got my exhaust put on!
Stock muffler:
Stock exhaust still on the vehicle:
Side by side. Stock 1.75" on the left, SS/TC 2.5" on the right:
SS/TC on left, stock on right:
Hmm...something is missing...
Stock 2" downpipe is the next thing to get replaced (along with the exhaust manifold):
Close-up size comparison:
Went and washed the car at a quarter wash to get all the salt and shit off. Still isn't like a good handwash at home, but it does the job.
Finally, a video. Sounds better in real life than the video. I really like the sound inside the car.
Thanks again, B for the recommendation, and Brian (bri2203) for the exhaust!

Wow, congrats the new mods and calendar Kyle!! Admittedly I wasn't keeping tabs on your progress (I had a bit to read
), sorry about that, but everything looks great.

Thanks Darren!
I was very surprised to see that they picked my car, of all vehicles, to be in the calendar!

Only coolant temp is in the DIC, as Mark and Brian said. Volts is on my pillar (see why I got a voltmeter?). I might do a dual pod cluster bezel (positions a gauge on each side of the cluster), probably with an interceptor and an oil pressure gaugeOriginally posted by meissen View PostLooks good but where's the coolant temp, volts, oil pressure, etc? They don't have that in the stock gauges?
Yep, bought it with 27k miles. Owned it since July '08Originally posted by meissen View PostHe bought it used from a rental company
Yeah, they look nice lit up. And yes, the DIC has mileage/outside temp, Trip A, Trip B, Range Left, Fuel Economy, Oil %, Coolant Temp.Originally posted by SoulTerror View PostIf his is the same as mine, the coolant temp is on the LCD screen on the RPM's side. Just have to push a button on the steering wheel to get to it.
Those gauges look alot better then the stock ones.
6500 RPM.Originally posted by bri2203 View PostLooks good Kyle! Are the SC and TC clusters the same? Whats your red line?
It's on my steering wheel. I have the cruise control/DIC controls on the left spoke of the steering wheel.Originally posted by bri2203 View PostI am not sure how that will work with Kyles car as I doubt it has controls on the steering wheel. I bet he has a button the dash or something.
That's my plan. Gonna do an overlay to match the Auto Meter Cobalts with blue LED lighting.Originally posted by Gottork View Postcan you make the dash gauges light up with the same color light of your pillar gauges?
Looks cool Kyle!!!
Thanks everyone!

Oil pressure is unknownOriginally posted by meissen View PostLooks good but where's the coolant temp, volts, oil pressure, etc?
Volts are unknown
Coolant temp can be viewed from the DIC (Driver informsation center) by scrolling through, using the info button the steering wheel.
I am not sure how that will work with Kyles car as I doubt it has controls on the steering wheel. I bet he has a button the dash or something.Last edited by bri2203; December 7th, 2009, 10:51 AM.
