The devil better turn up the heat, because I think it is getting cold in hell.

Congrads Jasen... glad to hear your getting some time to work on you project car, even if it is a Camaro.

Well here's the latest. I pulled the engine out of the car (was just sitting in there temporarily anyway). Put it on the stand, cleaned it up, rolled the car out, put the new steering column in, did some rearranging in the garage for winter. Next on the list is to take the firebird steering wheel off and change out the ignition cylinder to the old one as I don't have a key to this one.

          Here's pics.

OT you should POR15 your floor pans while the carpet is out. its very easy to do and will stop the rust as well as insuluate (heat and sound) the interior.

I might, there is a good possibility of that in some form. However, I may just replace them instead. The rears are pretty weak and the fronts have just some thin gauge sheet metal that somebody threw in there before I got the car. So I'm really thinking, at least the footwells (is that the right word for where your feet go? lol) need to be replaced.

Well yeah, that's what I meant when I said "in some form". Guess I should have clarified better. Obviously I will want to get the welds covered at the very least but I'll probably do the whole floor.

luckily the trunk is pretty solid. Though I am going to have to get under it again and do a thorough inspection to be sure.

Go with a color that matches your color scheme. I painted mine Red.
