OT, I would go with Chevy Orange for the engine. But then, I'm old and Chevy Orange just "seems right" to me.

there needs to be some orange terror somewhere

i think you should paint the car orange with black stripes and a black vinyl top. err wait, this is an 80.... nevermind the vinyl top.

Im a fan of the gloss black.

Gloss black exterior / flat black bay / gloss black engine. With some polished here and there.

No, I will not be jumping on the white car bandwagon. We have enough of those here, lol.

Well yeah, that's what I meant when I said "in some form". Guess I should have clarified better. Obviously I will want to get the welds covered at the very least but I'll probably do the whole floor.

luckily the trunk is pretty solid. Though I am going to have to get under it again and do a thorough inspection to be sure.

The rears are pretty weak and the fronts have just some thin gauge sheet metal that somebody threw in there before I got the car. So I'm really thinking, at least the footwells (is that the right word for where your feet go? lol) need to be replaced.
