    It's either pull the trigger now or leave it mild. No point in putting $900 into working trans for a 300hp 5.3L. I'd love for the car to be the test bed for one of Jonny's AC kits.

    That was w/o turbo. I also stated "I'd be willing to up my budget a bit for some boost and a better transmission." in the first post of this thread

    I figured a minimum of 4k for a turbo build, not including rear end
