Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Thanks Ricky! It's funny you mention the a/c because I was very reluctant to remove it until I actually thought about the number of times I used it over the past 8 years. Probably less than 10. I'm a windows down type of guy even in my dd. I never liked driving my car when its 90* out anyways so for me it's no big deal...
It feels completely different. Like you said, the torque is very noticeable! With my old heads/cam setup I really had to rev it to get moving and take each gear to redline. Now I can roll into the throttle at 2500 rpms and it pulls.
It's hard to say how much faster the car is because the power feels so different. I'm excited to get some numbers at the track but I fear that my 4.10's will limit my mph and I don't have any desire to rev it much beyond 6000rpms. I'm looking into gears now although I'm not sure when I will get around to installing them. The car has already been down for most of the summer and I just want to enjoy it for awhile. I'm hoping to come out swinging next year though
Thanks for the offer but you're right...my car is not set up for 28" tires.
What's the rule of thumb for bias ply tire growth at 120ish mph? My tires are 26.1" according to MT (26x10 et streets). Straight calcs without growth says I can get about 119mph at 6300rpm. Of course I'm hoping for more mph than that but I'll take what I get until I can swap gears...
