It's 24' x 40' with 9.5' high ceiling. I am having it built with insulated doors, etc with heat in mind for the future. I would like to eventually get a Trane, Reznor, etc gas fired heater but for now I will just use my kerosene bullet heater (dont want to blow my entire life savings all at once...lol)

A lift is not likely in the near future They are great if you have unlimited space but tend to get in the way with a smaller building like mine. But I won't say never. If I can find a good location for a lift I would consider it in the future.

This week I’ve been struggling with my new 2 bar MAP sensor and the 2 bar operating system. When the key is on and the engine is not running the MAP sensor reads 0 kPa instead of 101 kPa like it should (or like the 1 bar sensor did). I posted the following thread on the HPtuners forum and after some more searching on my part it appears that this is “normal” for some genIII computers with the 2 bar OS. Hopefully this will help anyone else who is having the same issue…

Nice piece! Does that serve as a replacement for the foam piece up front?

It will replace both the foam and the metal bumper support

What Jonny said. Most guys just ditch the bumper reinforcement and foam but in my old age I'm starting to think more about safety. In case of a front end collision I want something more than an intercooler between me and whatever I'm hitting Plus this keeps the bumper from sagging

That looks like a great addition. Are you keeping you receipts? I'd be interested to see the breakdown after this whole project is done "the right way"

Yeah, I have the receipts and everything is getting entered into a spreadsheet. At the end I want to know exactly how much everything cost and how much I sold all my old parts for. Remind me again when it's done but right now it looks like the difference will be $2,000-2,500 depending on the turbo I buy...I cant remember the overall number at the moment. My biggest miscalculation so far has been the shipping cost (more than budget) on the parts I sold but I was able to make up for some of that by getting better deals on used parts than I budgeted for.

                        Today was a good day...
Fixed my vacuum leak, ordered my turbo, and was able to trial fit my intercooler and Burkhart bumper support together. They fit together fine but the piping doesn't quite clear. It's very close...

I was able to force the coupling to fit but it's not a good long term solution.

The upper bracket cannot be lowered because the bumper support is in the way so I'm thinking that I will use a spacer up top and re-drill the lower bracket and everything will be fine That can wait until I am ready to mount it on the car.

So what turbo did you end up going with?

That shouldn't be an issue at all. The cooler shouldn't have any issues going down a touch, and the cold side piping with the couplers can always have variance! Good job Dave!
