Well damn....I'm a little late to the remote turbo party. My Cavalier that I ultimately traded for the Camaro was supercharged, remote turbocharged, and then finally re-supercharged before de-modding it. When remote turbocharged, I ended up making 270hp 280tq on a bad choice of an oil scavenge pump. The turbo was barfing oil into the intake tract because the pump couldn't keep up when the oil was at full temp. After replacing it with the same one STS uses on their systems, the car ran like a dream. I never got back to the dyno with it to see how much more power it made when running tip top.


I REALLY miss the power hit that sucker gave. Top of 1st gear, it would kick in like crazy. Shift fast enough (or shift without letting off the gas) and the car would rocket through 2nd gear. I pissed off quite a few ls equipped cars back then
