does anybody else run a sts/remote mount turbo?

Just wondering how other people are doing with them the ls1tech dick ryders just bash it but I know setup properly it can make good power.

Post what turbo you use /psi/ horsepower or times or both. I am just getting curious as mine is getting so close.

they make decent power but usually never run well at the track.
99transamws6 has a custom remote setup that runs good though

Is that a black auto t.a....I seen it a while back but didn't think to ask him about it because I didn't have one at the time lol....I also understand there is a green lt1 camaro that runs really hard with the base 60-1 around here somewhere too.

yep black car with silver stripes, runs very well. Only green LT1 I know of that had a sts kit was a member on here that blew the motor racing a buddy of mine.

I believe the one I am thinking of has zr1 wheels....it was in the front parking lot I don't think it ran on the dyno though.

This is Cory's WS6. It's a rear mount turbo car. I don't know any specs on it, and im not sure you'll get any out of him but I know it runs good.... Looks good too

My cusin has one on his 96 impala ss LT1 its a sts 76mm I believe. His car is heavyer than stock and at 9 PSI he trapped 12.25 119 with a bad trans bouncing off the revv limiter stuck in third gear .a lot more left in it he is going to 15 psi in the spring.
