Ah! I'm glad you asked! Let me get to a computer instead of my phoneOriginally posted by c0ncEpT View PostEverything you have posted has been theory anyways. Hell communism worked well in theory.
Where are your facts? Where are your back to back pulls showing how a 2" spools xxx amount RPM's faster than a 2.5" and will support xxx amount of power?-08 G8 GT DD: Rotofab CAI, HID's, Breyton Race GTS'

By facts you mean numbers showing exhaust velocity between different size pipes? Where did it show that said car went any faster with 2"? Or that said car spooled xxx amount faster? Or 2" supported xxx amount of power before it was a restriction? I'm still waiting for those factsOriginally posted by Boostme View Posthe posted facts but they were removed

If you move more cfm what do you think that does? And moving more cfm will cause less of a restriction correct?Originally posted by c0ncEpT View PostBy facts you mean numbers showing exhaust velocity between different size pipes? You know what Shawn your right. 2" would spool faster and support enough power for what 90% of people want to do.
But 2.5" has been used for years in cars making anywhere from 500 to 2000 so whats problem? This is what he built and unless there is an overwhelming want for a 2" kit from people who are actually going to buy a kit than why change it?

hmm i didnt know a smaller pipe will move more cfm.. that must be why in heads they make the ports smaller to flow more..Originally posted by Boostme View PostIf you move more cfm what do you think that does? And moving more cfm will cause less of a restriction correct?
ohh wait they dont.. they make them bigger to flow more..
im done ****in argueing with you guys.. you obviously know more then me.. which is why you;d build your own kit anyway and wouldnt be interested in this one..

Why would you take out a 260/260 duration cam that had 600 HP in a N/A engine and put in a cam with 230/230 duration for a turbo setup that makes 800 HP?Originally posted by kammi10 View Posthmm i didnt know a smaller pipe will move more cfm.. that must be why in heads they make the ports smaller to flow more..

exactly.. for someone who wants to be serious about a turbo build and make stupid power more then likely are not going to be buying an off the shelf turbo kit for their car.. they will have one custom madeOriginally posted by c0ncEpT View PostYou know what Shawn your right. 2" would spool faster and support enough power for what 90% of people want to do.

The point we are trying to prove is you cant just go saying "This works the best! just because it does" with no proof. there is absolutely no problem with the kit. 2.5" does work. Just cant say its the best with no proof or even trying anything else.Originally posted by kammi10 View Posthmm i didnt know a smaller pipe will move more cfm.. that must be why in heads they make the ports smaller to flow more..

i agree with you however for what his goals are that size will work perfect for him getting to those goals..

Why not build a 3" crossover? That would be perfect for his goals too? Might have more lag but it will support the HP.Originally posted by kammi10 View Posti agree with you however for what his goals are that size will work perfect for him getting to those goals..-08 G8 GT DD: Rotofab CAI, HID's, Breyton Race GTS'
