Its a lot easier to change a down pipe once its become a restriction than build a whole new hotside. I'm just sayin....

I'm at woodward every weekend? Simple math calculations are out there. Not one person has supporting data/facts?

yeah and your right.. i must not know shit since i just completed a twin kit for my car.. so i dont know jack shit.

im not saying its a proven thing.. but why make it smaller? its really not going to make the velocity going to the turbo any faster, and even if it does it wont be significant anyway. for the application he is doing it will work just fine.
Its not going to? So wait, stepping down from a 1 3/4 to a 1 5/8 pipe doesn't make more velocity? Show me where please. Anyone can build a kit. Its easy.

you build your kit he builds his.. different people have different idea's and different theory's if it aint broke dont fix it.

im assuming your using a 2 inch crossover for yours which is why your putting up a huge fuss over this. go get your kit done and i'll show you how my 2.5's work out as im ahead of you going across the stripe

How does a turbo work Sean? Why does the exhaust inlet go from a T6 flange DOWN to a bottleneck at the wheel? More velocity maybe? Faster airspeed? Hmmm...

2.5" cross overs aren't proven your right. This car looks like it runs 12's and spools at 5500rpm.

so even in a n/a app why does everyone want to go to the larger of the sizes for their headers. the small ones would move the air faster.. so in turn it would get rid of the exhaust faster..

also your correct anyone can build a kit.. you and me an jonny all are right now.

with a t6 yes. it will have to.. otherwise it wouldnt spool until 6k rpms..

N/A systems and turbo systems have LITTLE in common.

Every turbo gets smaller to the wheel on the exhaust side! Why? Tell me turbo god.

                          still the same principles

do u really think your going to gain that much by dropping the crossover size down? sure its going to spool a little faster.. but who wants full spool at 2k rpms.. i know.. i;d rather keep my traction down low to move me out of the hole so im not just spinning like crazy..

Everything you have posted has been theory anyways. Hell communism worked well in theory.

Where are your facts? Where are your back to back pulls showing how a 2" spools xxx amount RPM's faster than a 2.5" and will support xxx amount of power?

So build an poor turbo kit to make up for your lack of suspension tuning? Turbo cars leave soft compared to Nitrous cars
