adding timing, I'm pretty sure you meant pull 2* because your next statement mentions the car pulling it. and running a 150 shot on a stock tune? Sorry Don but I no longer wonder why you've popped so many. Do you ever look at your plugs?

I'd have to look at the notes, but I seem to recall in tuning my ride, we ended up pulling 4° of timing to get within acceptable (safe) parameters. Jus sayin.

i have lots of friends that can tune computers. my buddy is in the process of tuning his typhoon that should be pushing low 11s. he will help me.

checked mine all the time. and the rule is 2 degrees for every 50hp after the 1st 50. and FYI i run the mallory hifire in my Z when it had a motor and spraying, so i pulled timing with that. but ive seen multiple stock tuned LT1s spray a 150 shot with no issues, no detonation and the plugs look great. and ive never popped a camaro motor due directly to nitrous this is something ive been playing with for a long time, and even on my 1st SS i put 3 years worth of nitrous spraying it almost every day, and tons every weekend at the track before the motor let loose because i miss shifted and over revved it. my Z28 seen a 400 shot on 7 degrees because thats where it ran the most clean. and that motor ran great! never let me down untill i put it in the cursed camaro.
