adding timing, I'm pretty sure you meant pull 2* because your next statement mentions the car pulling it. and running a 150 shot on a stock tune? Sorry Don but I no longer wonder why you've popped so many. Do you ever look at your plugs?

I'd have to look at the notes, but I seem to recall in tuning my ride, we ended up pulling 4° of timing to get within acceptable (safe) parameters. Jus sayin.

checked mine all the time. and the rule is 2 degrees for every 50hp after the 1st 50. and FYI i run the mallory hifire in my Z when it had a motor and spraying, so i pulled timing with that. but ive seen multiple stock tuned LT1s spray a 150 shot with no issues, no detonation and the plugs look great. and ive never popped a camaro motor due directly to nitrous
this is something ive been playing with for a long time, and even on my 1st SS i put 3 years worth of nitrous spraying it almost every day, and tons every weekend at the track before the motor let loose because i miss shifted and over revved it. my Z28 seen a 400 shot on 7 degrees because thats where it ran the most clean. and that motor ran great! never let me down untill i put it in the cursed camaro.
