well just remember the pros and cons of digital to mech...
when racing at the track of course.. a mechanical gauge has about a 90 percent better reaction time to look, understand, and move on. when you see the needle and its not in the red either way,(preferably straight up and down) then your good.. move on to the road or the next gauge...
when you look at a digital gauge you have to read the number, and decipher wether that number is in the normal operating range and then decide what to do if it isn't. not to mention thinking of where the normal operation range is..
mechanical is much better for race applications because of this.. more time off the gauge and on the road...
but to each his own.. i prefer the mechanical for racing and digital for looks.. but thats just me..
